Vesku

So inspired about the Vain elämää –tv –series (based on the Dutch tv-format De beste zangers van Nederland) I had to paint a portrait of the first host of the season 3. Vesa-Matti Loiri (born in 1945) is one of the most famous entertainment artists of Finland. He has brought so much joy and laughter to Finnish homes and he is a childhood hero of mine. It was such a pleasure to follow the episode where the fellow participants performed his most famous songs. "Loiri" Acrylic on canvas 33x24cm. Enjoy!
