Tove Jansson

Lately I've been inspired to paint great Finnish people from our history and I decided that it was time for me to introduce you to another one of my portraits. The Finnish women back in the days, and nowadays also, were very spirited and strong minded I wanted to give my best to capture that spirit. Now I'm thrilled to present to you my view of Tove Jansson (1914-2001), the beloved Finnish comic-strip author, the creator of Moomin, philosopher and an illustrator. What do you think; did I succeed in my task?
